ON TOUR AT HOME.
London, July 24. Mrs. E. M. Kitcat, of Marton, has this weok gone over to Ireland. Eighty domestic servants . left for New Zealand' by tho lonic, lin chargc of two matrons. Mr. T. and Sir. Paora-Chainberlin wero among the guests of the 1900 Club on July 18. A son was bom to Mr. and; Airs. E. Nelson Hobson (formerly; Miss Rita Simpson, of Wellington), at Wairoa, Rcduill, Surrey, on July 11. Mr. H. Weston, of New Plymouth, who is at prcsont at tlio Langham Hotel, returns to New Zealand Shortly. Miss Eva Overtoil, of Devonport, intends remaining in England for some tdmo, and will travel in tho provinces. Mr. G. P. Donnelly loaves London in August for Montreal,, sailing- by tho Niagara from Vancouver on September 3. V' . Mrs. E. H. Blencowe, of Auckland, has beon in England for some-months, and visited Devonshire, Kent, Surrey, and Sussex. She'intends to reside in London while her family.is being educated. Mr.. Robert Milligan, of Oamaru, is at present staying with relatives in the South of Scotland. Ho proposes making an extensive tour of Great Britain and before returning to New Zealand mil spend about six weeks on the Continent. Mr. Alfred H. Caudiwell, of Auckland, spent some time in tho Rocky Mountains andl Canada, and Chicago and Now York before coming to England. He spends three months here, touring tho country, then leaves for Now Zealand, via Franco .and Switzerland. _ Mr. and Mrs. G. T. Brown, of Chiristchuroh, aro visiting Great Britain, after an absence of 34 yeare, and since their arrival have been visiting friends in Cornwall and Devonshire. They are in London now, but go down again later to Cornwall and Devonshire, and sail for Now Zealand by tho Orama in October.
