LACROSSE.

This afternoon at the Basin Reserve, in continuation of the Proud Cup competition, Kelburno will play Capitol and Wellington will oppose Columbia. The former match is creating some interest as having an important bearing on the championship. Each side has previously defeated the other this season, nnd a victory for Capitol will altogether displace Kelburne in the cup contest, which will then be fought out between Capitol and Columbia at a later date. Some good lacrosso sliould bo witnessed in both matches, which are timed for "face-off" at 3 o'clock.
