Barnes (Labour member for tho Blackfriars Division of Glasgow), speaking at Glasgow, said that tho Labour party had lost the Chesterfield seat, and could afford to lose ono or two more of tho same sort. Thoso who, liko Mr. ICenyon (who was clected for Chesterfield), were not prepared to support tho Labour party as a separate entity—regarding it as a mere adjunct of tho Liberal party—had better get outside and associate with those with whom they had greater sympathy.
