'An extraordinary breach of promiso case has just been concluded in which a dusky Burmese Beauty,_ with whom the son' of an English vicar has been living- at Rangoon, has been awarded £100 damages. Tho exhibits during tho trial included 1000 lovo letters, one of which comprised 142 pages, upon which the recipient had to pay Is. -3d. excess postage.
