JOHNSONVILLE TOWN BOARD
A meeting of the Johnsonville Town Board was field last ovening. Commissioner Moore was in tho chair, and there were also present: Messrs. May, Thompson, Lawrence, Jerusalem, Barker, and Angel.
A reply was received from the State Guaranteo Advances Office to the effect that a special loan of 10 per cent on tho water and drainago loan was granted.
Tho board decided to fix automatic lighters to tho street lights worked by gas pressure.
• It was decided by the board to t-ako legal proceedings against owners of cattle for allowing them to stray on tho public . streets.
Strong comment was mado by several members of tho board regarding tho cattle yards, and the fact fliat tho improvement recommended by the Health Department had not been carried out. It was decided to place tho matter in tho hands of tho board's solicitors.
Tenders are to bo invited for tho erection of 15 ventilating shafts, in connection with the sowcrage system.
