GOVERNMENT ELECTRICIANS ON STRIKE. The leaders threaten to cull out the postal electricians, including lift-mon. By this means' tlie mail senrices would bo disorganised. BROKEN HILL DISPUTE. Sydney, August 26. The Broken Hill strikers have rejected the log offered by the employers, and decided to leave the dispute in the hands of tihe. Barrier Labour Federation for prosecution to the end. BUILDING STRIKE IN LONDON. (Rec. August 26, 10.10 p.m.) , London, August 26. Ten thousand skilled workers in the building trades in London have struck, and possibly fifty thousand labourers will join." Earl Beauchamp, First Commissioner of Works, has refused an advance in wages to labourers employed under the Board of Works, and suggested arbitration, but there is little chance of tho men acquiescing.
