CONTROL'S QUARTERLY REPORT. Tho quarterly meeting of the council of tho New Zealand Lawn Tennis Association will bo 'held to-morrow evening. The following is tho Management Committee's report whic'h is to bo submitted at tho meeting:— Your Management Committee presents a report in brief as to the principal matters dealt with since tQio last report presented at tho quarterly meeting of the council held on Mav 30. Adoption of Ball, 1913, N.Z. Championships.—Your committee has adopted "Ayres ' hall foi tho 1913 N.Z. championships, upon tho samo conditions as were arranged last year. Clubs have been notified by circular letter that indent orders can noyf ho placed for tho coming season. Bri< tish Team's . Australasian Tour. —Tilt Australasian Association has under consideration a proposal to distribute £400 of tho proceeds of the tour of tlie British team through Australasia. Tho asportation lias asked tiho New Zealand Association to express its opinion as to tho proportions of the proceeds tho various associations affiliated to tho Lawn Tennis Associatioi of Australasia should i receive. Now Zealand's delegates to tho Australasian Association 'have been requested to watch Now iuter-_ ests, and informed that tho New Zealand Association favoured- a distribution, but desires to leavo tho apportionment to tho Australasian, Association. The Australasian Association lias been ■ advised to the samo effect. The sum of £62 6s. has been received from the Ca.iiterbury Association re, tho Christemircn match, but tdvere remains still to bo setlied a question of players' travelling expenses, amounting to £6 1/s. lOd. Proposed Visit, by, a Continental Team.—Tho Australasian Association is endeavouring to arrange avisit to Australia by a representative Gorman team, the team probably including tlireo of tho players who represented Germany in tho Davis Cup match against Ainer-
On behalf* of the Australasian Association, Mr. Gordon Inglis has been instructed to issue an invitation tor the team to tour Australia and possibly New Zealand, and to request the team to nr- > rive at Perth about the first week in October next. Your association is asked to state if it desires the team to tour New Zealand, and if bo, tlio best terms it is prepared to offer. The Auckland Association recommended Messrs. W. 11. Holmes, A. A. Martm, A S. C. Brown, 11. H. Coolro, L. 1 Licksou and W. A. Brown as a sub-commit-too'to act with tho Management Committeo in tho conduct of the meeting.'
