MURDSR IN A PUBLIC PARK. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright Perth, August 25. A tragedy is reported from Claremont, where a man named Walter Surradge attacked his wife and out her threat. Tho pair wcro sitting on a seat in tho park at tho time. A passer-by intcrvenedj and after a great strugglo dragged Surrndao away from .the woman. Surradgo then cut his own throat. Tho wifo was found to bo dead. Surradgo, who will probably recover, deserted his wife last year, and tho wife obtained a maintenance order against him. A reconciliation followed, but the pair frequently .quarrelled.'
