N.S.W. CENSURE DEBATE.
THE GOVERNMENT CONFIDENT, By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright Sydney, August 23. Cabinet, at a meeting, discussed tho censure motion of Mr. Wade, Leader of the Opposition, to tho effect that tho agreement with the Norton, Griffiths Company to build railways for the New South Wales Government at a cost of three millions "ia highly unsatisfactory, and fraught with great danger to this State." : Ministers anticipate that the motion will be defeated by about eight votes. They emphasise the point that they are under no obligation to submit tho scheme to the Houso, whioli has already approved the proposed railways. Mr. Wade, in a specch at Campsie, accused the Government of almost bankrupting the country by wanton extravaganco, and contravening one of the leading planks of its platform by borrowing in the manner proposed. • 1
