Mossts. Daljrety and Company, Ltd., Pnlmerstoii North, report liavinp held their weekly stook ealo on August 21, when they offered a small yarding of stock to a fair attendance of the public. Quotations as follow:—Small ewe hoggets, 14s. 9d.; empty aged ewes, lis. lCd.; mixed coloured yearling steers, £2 175.; empty cows, £1 13s. to £3. Tho New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co, Ltd., report:—At Palmerston on Thursday a medium yarding met with a good ealo <it tho following prices:— Sheep: Forward.ewes, 18s. 6d. light fat ewes, 14s. 4d. Cuttle: Yearling steers, £2 6s. to £2 155.; yearling heifers, £2 175.; aged cows, £2 to £2 55.; fresh cows, £3 15s. to £3 196.; springing heifers, £6; heifers, with calf, £3 17a. 6d.; cows in calf, £4 to £4 ss. od.
Messrs. Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report:—At Palmerston North on Thursday a medium yarding of 6tock was offered, and sales were effected at the following quotations:~Prlmo fat cwe.s £1 ss. fid.; light fat wtehers; £1 33.; f.m. ewes, in lamb, 165.; hoggets, 14s. 5d.; cows, £3 14s. to £4; forward store bullocks, £6 9s.*, store cows, £2 to £3 55.; heifers in calf, £3 145.; empty heifers, £3 75.; mixed yearlings, £2 10s.
