In connection with the proposed roundtable' conference announced Gome days ago between tho heads of the mining industry and the hiiners, the Trades Federation has decided that it will be represented, if it is agreed that its representation will be separate and' distinct from that of tho miners.

The federation has also conferred with the Minister for 'Mines respecting legislation for the non-mining industries.
