THAW'S ARREST.

Although Harry Thaw will probably be liberated on a writ of habeas corpus he will instantly bo rearrested by the immigration officers, deported to .Vermont, and then handed over to the 'American authorities. 1 (Reo. August 22, 8.50 p.m.) Ottawa, August 22. . The Immigration Department has decided that if Thaw is released as tho result of habeas corpus they will reject him as an undesirable immigrant, and return, him across the border. Governor Sulzer (who ignores his suspension' from office), acting as Governor of, New York, has telegraphed to Ottawa asking for tho return of Thaw. Mr. Glynn (tho Lieutenant-Governor, who was appointed to act in Sulzer'fl place), has made tho same request.
