FURTHER WORD BY WIRELESS,
■A further wireless message which lias been received from tho Government steamer Tutanekai, at Macquario Island, states that the vessel was experiencing some difficulty in effecting, a landing. Tho message added that it was hoped that all stores would bo lantlcd during yesterday afternooji. A message received in Wellington at 11.35 p.m. stated that the Tutanekai left Macquario Island at 2 p.m. She will make a call at the Auckland Island en route to New: Zealand, for the' purpose of examining the Government depots which have been erected there for castaways. She should reach these islands about midnight to-night. It is anticipated that tho inspection will bo finished by to-morrow evening, when departure will bo taken for tho Bluff. Tho southern port'should, bo made 611 Monday night or Tuesday next.
