Tho Roman Catholic Congress has urged that Roman Catholics should give preferenne to purely Roman Catholic workers' unions, instead of co-operating with the non-Roman Oat'holics. If the suggestion is accepted, the Socialists will havo in the Roman Catholics a dangerous rival in tlie bidding for tho votes of the workers.
