STREET SMASH.
ON WELLINGTON TERRACE. Yesterday morning a collision occurred at the .junction of Wellington Terrace and Everton Terrace between a trap owned and driven by Mr. H. .W. Moss, of Karori, manager of Messrs. Johnston and Co., who had with him his two sons, and Mr. E. B. Bristow, and a motor-van owned by Messrs. Wardell and Co. Tho trap was being driven down tho Terrace, and tho van had just turned into tho Terraco from Boulcott Street when tho collision occurred. Tho van fell into an opening, in which corporation employees were relaying pipes, but the collision was not averted, Mr. .Moss being unablo to pull up in time. Tho result of the impact was that both lie and Mr. Bristow turned a double somersault and dropped heavily on (he road, and though Mr. Bristow escaped with th'o shock, Mr. Moss Injured one of his hips and was badly bruised. Ho was taken to Mr. W. M. Hannay's residence, where he was attended to by Dr. M'Lean, and subsequently was removed home in \the ambulance.
