NO'DIVIDEND. The absonce of a dividend was thechiei feature of tho New Zealaud Dairy Union s amnml meeting on Tuesday, (says our. Talmerston North correspondent). Tins calamity (from the shareholders.' viewpoint) was' due to large expenditure on now buildings. Tho chairman, Mr. Parsons, in'his address, predicted high prices for fir«t-cla«? butter in the coming season, and ho emphasised the need for increased care with, that very perishable product,, home-separated cream. Considerable disappointment was expressed at the non-payment of a dividend, but it was asserted that some shareholders wei-o sending their supplies to a rival concern. , Messrs. C. Voss, F. Maul, and T. Moss were re-elected directors. The next annual meeting will be held at Woedvillo. ■
