In the general investigation which has followed the riots in Londonderry, in- , quiry lias disclosed the fact that the Roj-al Irish Constabulary in Derry is now predominantly Roman Catholic-Nationalist in personnel,. owing to tho steady decline in tho number of Protestant recruits, the latter finding more lucrative positions in flourishing industries or in assisting their fathers on tho farms.
