Archibald; 'N'aira.rapa, Mr. H. T. Wangamii and Marten,' Mr. I'. Moore; JToston, Mr. W. T. Jewell; Taihape,/Mr. 'Morrison; Damnovirke, Mr. B. I Oil .reccipt-of tins'message, Mr. Lysnar by telegram with other ileadeTS in the/Now Zealand movement, lacking for, their opinion as to what reply ,6hould be sent. After t'ho replies had beon received, Mr. Lysnar dispatched the following cablegram"Generally favourable Canada inclusion. Before deciding (would like to know views of manager ami ' terms suggested for f Canada's inclusion regarding capital and control." Dealing with the subject mentioned above, :Mr. Lysnar stated that he Tegarded the request made on behalf of Canada to be one of very great importance, and ho considered that, there would bo nothing to lose and everything to gain by obtaining tlje co-operation of Canada in marketing of produce. "Their main articles," isaid : > Mr. Lysnar, "are wheat, cheese, 'bacon,' fruits, and horse-fodder. Their season; is our off season, and the only articlei of importance that would come :into 'competition' on the English 'market .with 'our produce would be cheese, and .Canada is oredited with producing 6omo of tho finest cheese in the world, and in tiro past lias obtained "a higher price for , this article than New Zealand. Consejquently it "would make the prospects of New. Zealand better, ns woll as that of Canada, for a reliable management to have control of tho marketing of the produce from both countries. It will enable itliis Dominion to hold the trade for 'Canada in its off 6ca.soiv, and Canada in |turn. would assist to hold the trade for |th:is Dominion. It is pleasing to realis9 ■ithat representatives of Canada aro de.sir--0113 of moving in this direction. Another ijrfiase of importance to New Zealand is thatthoy will help to bear the cost of ttho staffing of our various selling depots ■throughout England."
Mr. Lysnar states that a meeting will |bu called shortly to appoint reprcsentaitives in the different districts - throughout jNew Zealand to act as a Board of Management in New Zealand and to engage itlie services of- a manager for New Zealand and other necessary : staff. Everything is now being got ready in England ]to recoive tho produce for tho forthcomj'ing season.
