A SOLID INVESTMENT.
In to-day's issue appears an advertisement on behalf of tho Waiotapu Land Syndicate, Ltd., somo 10,000 shares of which are now availablo for purchase by the public. The company's land, 13,150 acres, is situated in tho pumice district north-east of Lake Taupo, on tho Waikato River, which forms tho boundary for several miles. The company states that it looks for its profits from tho subdivision of this land, and as it has cost only 255. per acre freehold, and taking into consideration the rapid rise in land values which is taking place in the Waiotapu and Taupo districts, and that its agricultural productiveness' has been proven, the company think that it will lie apparent tlmt tho estimated profit of from X 20.000 to .£26,000, which it looks for, is by no means too optimistic. Full particulars concerning the allotment of shares, the modus operandi of tho company, and photographs of the laud in bearing will bo found in the advertisement, to which the attention of intending investors is directed.
