PANAMA EXHIBITION.
ADVERTISING AUSTRALIA. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright Melbourne, August 19. Referring to the representation of Australia at the.Panama Exhibition, Mr. Cook, Federal Primo Minister, says that as the Australian States do not seem prepared to accept any financial responsibility for representation at the Exhibition, the Commonwealth will )je left alone to shoulder the burden. In the event of the States deolining to act, it is proposed to make a grant of ,£20,000, which will probably be spent on some form of advertising Australia.
