Grand National meeting conoluded to-day -in'dull and cold weather, a couple of showers- falling early in the afternoon. The course was heavy as a result of the preceding" day's rain. Tho totalisator turnover was .EM,063 10s., against -£37,13.1 10s. last year, making a total of J313U.319 for the meeting, as against JH05.982 10s. last year. The results are: — UNTIED HUNT CLUB'S STEEPLECHASE, of 130 sovs. About two miles and a half.—7 -Mr. G. S. Hutton's Fritz, lOst. Sib (T. Humphries), 1; 5 Mr. W. ,S. Dalton's Captain Jack, list. 81b. (W; Percival), 2; 1 Mr. L. n. Coilinson's Major Webb,. Ost. 131b. (Jerry O'Connell), 3. ilso started: 2 Rufus, lOst. 31b.; '8 Hoyal Medal, lOst. 121b.; 6 ICiugsway, lOsfc. 41b.; i Tariki, 'lOst. 71b.; 3 Joueur, 9st. 9 Miss Gibbs, 9st. 71b. ICingsway, Joueur and Tariki went to the front, but passing the stand Rufus was in front. Kingsway ran off at tho back, wliilo Captain Jack and Fritz moved up.
