MR, HANAN IS CURIOUS. The following question addressed to tlio Prime Minister was given notice of in tlio Houso yesterday by Mr. J. A. llanan:—'"Whether it i 9 a fact that on Juno 27 last, before the people hail timo to form a full judgment of tlio Governor's Speech, the Government dispatched a cablegram to tlio High Commissioner, London, in which was the following statement: 'Contents of Speech delivered by Governor to-day, received with general approval throughout tlio Dominion'; and, if this message was sent, what evidence have tho Government for stating in this message of self-glorification, before tho Speech could even have been read by a majority .of the people, that tho Speech had been received 'with general approval' " ■'
