LABOUR'S IMPRIMATUR.
DENIED TO POLITICAL CANDIDATE. By Telegraph—Press Association— ConyTleht London, August 12. The Parliamentary Labour Executive has refused 'to recognise Mr. Kenyon's candidature for the Chesterfield peat in the House of Commons, but the local Labour body and Liberals havo adopted him. The SodicMst section is strongly opposed to so-called LabourLiberal candidates. The vacancy for the Chesterfield (Derbyshire) seat has boon caused by the death of Mr. James Hnslam (Labour). At the Inst general election. Mr. Hasnm polled 7238 vote? against 5055 east for his opponent, Mr. Guy Radford (Unionist).
