CANADA AND THE NAVY.
PUBLIC INTEREST QUICKENING. By Telegraph—Press Association—Oopyrieht ("Times"— Sydney. "Sun" Special Cables.) Ottawa, August 12. - Interest has t>een revived in the Canadian naval questions., It is suggested that the Government should provide for the construction of i'hreo battleships in the Supply Bill next session, but it is doubtful whether this will be done, becauso the redistribution of seats question will probably be given preference.
