4 INQUIRY IN PARIS. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright ("Times"— Sydney "Sun" Special Cables.) Paris, August 11. An administratiyo inquiry has been opened into allegations against seven plain-elothes police on charges of having blackmailed tradesmen in regard to imaginary breaches of regulations. It is also alleged that the men gratified private vonecance by arresting innocent people iu return for money.
