LADIES' COSTUME.
IN PHYSICAL DRILL CLASSES. (By Telegraph-Special Correspondent.) Palmerston, August 12. At a meeting on Saturday, the Manawatu branch of the Wellington District Educational Institute resolved that the institute will support, morally and legally, any lady teachcr who refuses to wear the dress proscribed for physical drill purposes, unless proper gymnasiums arc supplied in which to give the exercises.
