It was decided that (on account of correspondence not having been answered satisfactorily), a challenge for a Brown Shield match from tho Wanganui F.A. bp not accepted. An important point was raised by a letter which was received from Auckland in which tho following question was osked:—A player was ordered off tho field by tho referee for Tough play. The caso could not lw dealt with hv the A.F.A. until the following week. The player was allowed to stolid down until his caso was dealt with. The A.F.A. considered that when a, player was ordered off the field by tli** referee, he was tithW suspension until his caso had been dealt with. . Are we right in ruling so? Considerable discussion ensued over the question, and subsenuentlv it was decided, by four votes to three, that "a plaver who was ordered off the field bv a referee bo not. suspended until a resolution to Hint effect was nassed by tile Management Committee of the association concerned."
