COMPULSORY VACCINATION.
VIEWS OF OBJECTORS. STATE.PREMIER'S VIEWS. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright (Reo. August 11, 9.20 p.m.) Sydney, August 11. A deputation opposed to compulsory vaccination interviewed Mr. • Holman, the State Premier, to-day. Amongst other obi jections stated, the deputation submitted that tlio recent Vaccinations .had been responsible for thousands of workers being incapacitated. Many had been made seriously ill, and it was believed that there had been some deaths. Mr. Holman, in reply, said that he had received further information which would probably lead to reconsideration of the government's decision to make vaccination compulsory for infants only. Cabinet was prepared to adopt a form of law which would give at the same timo the most advantage to tho community and the most consideration to conscientious objectors. Personally, ho was. prepared to allow a citizen who entertained objections either for himself or for his child to bo exempt upon conforming to certain conditions. There would be no obnoxious tyranny over the minds of those-who did not believo in vaccination.
