■MURDERED.AND ROBBED.. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright .Melbourne, August 11. The body of an old man, Richard Knight, was.Jound ( j.his ( h'ut. lived alone. His iiead was almost 'WoW ;off with a gnri. It is suspected that he was murdered, robbery being the motive. (Rec; August 11, 9;20 p.m.)' A gun has been found in tho scrub, near Knight's body. Tho deceased, was' pos-' sessed of considerable money, and did not believo in banks, but kept his savings in the house. Recently tho hut was robbed, aid Knight then declared his intention of carrying his money in .his pockets. , No money was found either on. the body or in the hut.
