rSpeciallj- .Written for Tnn Dominion.] MONDAY. Onion soup. Hagout of veal. Potatoes. Pumpkin. Stewed fruit. Tapioca, pudding. RAGOUT OF VEAL, ■ Ono pound cold veal, two ounces bacon, one carrot, one oniony half ft turnip, few cloves, one pint stock or -water, ono ounce flour, salt mid pepper. Prepare and cut tho vegetables into small dice, put them on with tho stock or water, salt, pepper, and cloves, and simmer goutly ior half an hour; then add the veal, cut in thin pieces (do not put veal through the mincing machine), and the bacon chopped finely, and cook very slowly for ono hour longer. Blend tbo flour, stir it in, cook for a few minuttes longer, and serve. FOR TO-MORROW. ' Stock, half a pint peas, sofked overnight, piece of corned beef, su/et, turnips, carrots. Defiance Butter.
