Thomas Mackenzie, High Commissioner for New Zealand, has written a spirited letter to sixty-eight nowspapers, in reply to lotters warning emigrants against New Zealand. He recalls tho fact that the defence scheme .was approved at three elections, and points out that New Zealand is not far from Asia, whenco trouble may come.
