CLASSIFICATION LIST.
APPEAL BOARD SUMMONED. On being consulted yesterday the Publio Service Commissioner stilted that the classification list was now in the printer's hands. and would most probably be issued as a supplement to the Gazette on Wednesday next. The list will not include tho Post and Telegraph Department, which will be one of tho next tasks to be undertaken by the tammiisoners. As it is a foregone conclusion that there will be appeals against the classification as listed, tfio Public Service Appeal Board (recently elected by tho votes of the whole of the Civil Service throughout New Zealand) has been summoned to meet in Wellington for the transaction of business on A T?e t Civil Service Association will probably hold its conference in Wellington during the first week of September.
