Captain Halsey gave a reception on' board the warship New Zealand. ,The sailors are also participating in the sports and fraternising'with the/Americaa bluejackets belonging to the cruiser California and other warships. •The Provincial > Government is. arranging -to present Captain Halsey with silver plate, suitably instvibed, commemorating the warship's visit.
