"THE GREAT M'EWEN."
To-day tho box. plan will bs opened for the first night of the "Wellington season of "The Great M'Ewen"-Company, commencing at the Opera House on Monday, August 11. "The Great M'Ewen" is a man about 50 years of age, and tho management stato that he has made a study of tho science of psychology for over 30 years, and has been described as ''ono of the greatest hypnotists of modern times." He is also said to be a remarkably clever conjuror, with a budget of new tricks, whilo he also excels as a Scotch humorist, with an unlimited fund of new stories. His entertainments aro said to be of high order, being amusing as well as instructive. With him will be associated Miss Florence Hartley, a. mezzo soprano with a voice of unusual quality and range, and Mr. Will Bolton, specialty dancer.
