FRACAS IN A BOARDING-HOUSE.
MISSILES AND HOT WATER.
By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright New York, August 1. Severe rioting- fcy strikers has/ taken place at Calumet, Michigan. The rioters attacked tlio police when tlio latter entered a Ijoardinghouso to arrest one of tho ringleaders. Tlio strikers used hot water, pepper, household utensils, and revolvers. Tho militia, using bayonets, finally suppressed tho disturlxince. Many strikers were injured, and scores arrested.
