DISTURBANCE OVER A FLAG.

A member of the Saskatoon militia battalion, seeing a girl wave 'tho American Flag in tho face of soldiers who were passing along tho street, stepped out of tho ranks and tore the ilag to pieces. He was court-martialled and dismissed. The whole regiment then resigned, compelling tho court-martial to ba cancelled, and tho mnn to be reinstated.
