OIL FUEL CONTRACTS.
STATEMENT BY MR. CHURCHILL. By Telegraph—Frew Association— Copyright (Sydney "Sun" Special.) j London, August 1. In the House of Commons, the Primo Minister (Mr. Asquith) stated that the use of oil fuel iu tho Navy had begun in 1904, and been extended since. It was not a new departure. Mr. Churchill (First Lord of the Admiralty), replying to Lord Charles Beresford (Unionist), said that twenty-five oil fuel contract had been made by the Admiralty during tho last four years. Further contracts would be made when necessary.
