Arrangements have been made between tho Potonc Borough Council and tho Wellington Harbour Board to build that portion of tho sea-wall between the pro6cnt structure ■ and the wharf, the Harbour Board to bear the cost of same. The work is to commence shortly. Councillor 11. R. Wright, of the Potonc, Borough Council, intends to put in his resignation at the next general meeting of tho council, owing to business duties which prevent hi Mr. G. Forsyth (of Koro Koro) and Mr. James Gaynor (Petone) are spoken of as possible candidates for tho vacancy, but it is thought that about six candidates wilt come out. Mr. Forsyth was a candidate at the last municipal election.
