The sailors toured the city and suburbs in automobiles. , (Rec. July 31, 9.10 p.m.) *■ Vancouver, July 31. In connection with the festivities, arranged in honour of the visit of H.M.S. New Zealand, the searchlight displays attracted thousands of spectators to the water-front.

A New Zealand Cup Race was run. Tho winner was a Vancouver horse. lord Burghersh (a-midshipman on H.M.S. New Zealand) rode the horse Copadeora into 6econd place.
