IN NEW SOUTH WALES CENSURE DEBATE. By Telesraph—Press Association— Copyricht Sydney, July 31. In the Legislative Assembly, Mr. G. S. Bceby resumed the no-confidence debate. He restated tho reasons for leaving the Cabinet and the formation of his Independent party, ivitii which ho intended to persevere. He announced his intention to vote with tli9 Government. . (Rec. August 1, 0.20 a.m.) Sydney, July 31. The no-confidence debate is still dragging elonp. The Council has passed Supply, and adjourned till Thursday next. THE MILLION LOAN. London, July 30. New South Wales is underwriting a million and a half 4 per cent loan at £97 10s., repayable between 1942 and J9G2, with accrued interest—about 13s. Gd. (Rec. July 31, 8.25 p.m.) Sydney, July 31. 4 It was originally intended that the Neiv South Wales loan should be for £2,000,000, but the l amount was reduced upon strong representations by the underwriters in London.
