STRIKERS AND THE PUBLIC
ATTITUDE OF RAILWAY MANAGERS. By Telecraph—Press Association—Copyright (Sydney "Sun"'Special.) New York, July 29. The railroad managers have notified the Federal mediator that they are willing to waive the demand that their grievances should be arbitrated upon simultaneously ■with those of tho men. They say that since tho men are evidently determined to strike regardless of consequences it is imperative that tho companies should protect the public.
