HAVELOCK WILSON'S, LAW SUIT
— (f VERDICT FOB THE COMPANIES. By Telegraph—ProEo Association—Oopyrlcht London, July 29. The hearing of the case in which Mr. Harclock Wilson, general secretary of the Seamen's Union, sued tho Shipping Federation and others for conspiracy to mako him bankrupt, lias concluded. The verdict was for defendants. The evidence for tho defence denied that any attempt had been, mado to smash Mr. Wilson. The basis of tho action was an allegation by Mr. Havelock Wilson that bogus unions wore financed by tho Shipping Federation, for the purpose of attacking and endeavouring to discredit liim. He admitted that lie 'had brought firo libel action?, and had obtained in each only a, fartliing damages.
