In a report to the Federal Government, Sir Georgo Roid, High Commissioner in London for Australia, urges that a searching inquiry sliould l>o lipid regarding the treatment of Australian butter in England. He says that the hidden mysteries of this trade should bo thoroughly probed by a special commissioner. Sucli an inquiry might arrest the developments in connection with trade substitutes for butter, tho consumption of which was greatly increasing.
