The Licensing Comniitteo of the Wellington Racing Club meets on Monday noxt to allot licenses to jockeys and trainers for tho season 1913-1914. That useful littlo mare, Handsomo Maid, has boon sold, and is to be raced in Melbourne. Sho ought to bo useful at Ascot and such meetings. Sir Ivhox was given a spell after racing at Trcnthain, and he is still running in tho paddock at liis owner's place at Opaki. Tho'only active members of li. Knox's team aro Ovcr-rato and a rising three-year-old filly by tho imported Bezonian, from Platypus. Tho latter died recently from blood poisoning.
