The British Charge d'A'fi'aires has. in- ■ formed the Porte that Great Britain is withdrawing her promised assistance in organising Turkey's possessions in Asia, owing to the latter's attitude, with regard to the occupation of Adrianople. Tho Sultan, replying to the King of Rumania, urges that'a frontier along the Maritza River would more preferable than tho Enos-Midia line.
