BULGARS DRIVEN FROM THEIR STRONGHOLD. GREEK'S VICTORIOUS MARCH. POWERS LOOKING ON. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright (Rec. July 28, 10.35 p.m.) Salonika, July 28. ■ The Greeks have traversed twelve miles of the Kresna Pass. They found the Bulgarian artillery covering the mouth of tho defile, preventing the development of the advance. Tho Bulgarian right occupied a precipitous height at Ronjon, fortified by four lines of entrenchments. This lino extended from Sementi to the heights of Porogos-Mahara, and waa supported by powerful artillery. Marching tlirough a pouring rain and thiok fog on Friday night, tho.. Greeks on Saturday attacked tho whole of tho Bulgarian front, dislodging them at Ronjen. Tho Greeks in tho Nevos Valley made a similar advance, and the attack everywhere was successful, threo siege guns being captured Tho Bulgarians finally fled.
A TIMELY DELIVERANCE. (Rec. July 29, 0.35 a.m.) Salonika, July 28. The retreating Bulgarians left a company at Kavoii, with orders to burn and 6ack tho town at daybreak. A Turkish boatman eluded the patrols at night, and, using muffled oars, rowed eighteen miles to tho Greek fleet. A. destroyer was dispatched to Kavoii. When the watchman on the church tower saw the destroyer entering tho harbour ho rang tho bells and ion through tho streots shouting: "The Greek fleet has como!" Tho Bulgarians thereupon fled, and tho populace accorded tho Greek captain and the Turkish boatman a great ovation. ■ Salonika, July 27. The Greeks occupied Xanthi after the Bulgarians had pillaged tho town and carried off the Greek Metropolitan and eighty notables, whoso fato is unknown. PRISONERS MURDERED. (Rec. July 29, 0.30 a.m.) Athens, July 28. Tho Greek fleet has occupied Dedeazatch. The Bulgarians, when retreating from Dedeazatch, destroyed the Ottoman Bank, and a number of warehouses, and carried off two hundred and forty notables. General Imimiet telegraphs that tho Bulgarians murdered two hundred Ottoman soldiers who had been taken prisoners at Kizelyendje.
RUSSIA CHANGES FRONT. ; (Rec. July 29, 0.30 a.m.) St, Petersburgh, July 28. Russia, has abandoned the idea of separate action against Turkey, and is willing that a naval demonstration should bo arranged. Rumania and the Powers apparently expect Bulgaria to expel tho Turks from the forbidden country herself. TURKS RETURN THANKS FOR ADRIANOPLE. Constantinople, Jaily 27. A thanksgiving service was hold for tho recovery of Adrianople. Tho mosque was crowded. Belgrade, July 27. The Servians have completed tho investment of Widin. It 19 somi-officially denied that Servia and Greece have come to an understanding with Turkey, with the object of taking action against Bulgaria. (Sydney "Sun" Special,) Belgrade, July 27. A handsome, wealthy, girl, seventeen years of age, left school to light for her country. She is wearing a uniform and carrying a rifle presented by the Servian War Minister.

Supplies from • Greece and Smyrna cannot meet the deficicncy. There is also a short supply of "Russians." Priccs have already risen 150 per cent! HAGUE PEACE CONFERENCE. POWERS TOO BUSY WITH OTHER MATTERS. (Sydney "Sun" Special—July 28, G. 15 p.m.) London, July 28. In reply, in the House of Commons, as to whether any steps had been taken to assemble a third Peace Conference at the Hague, Sir Edward Grey (Secretary for Foreign Affairs) stated that the Powers were too preoccupied with urgent questions. He doubted whether they would move in the matter.
