PORT FACILITIES INSPECTED. London, July 25. At tho Port of London Authority's Invitation, tliq Hon. T. Mackenzie, High Commissioner for Now Zealand, the Australian Agents-General and others interested in the colonial trade, inspected tho Loudon, Tilbury, Albert, and Victoria Docks, including the work of discharging beef and mutton at tho sito of tho new meat sheds at tho Victoria Dock, anil tho extensions at the Tilbury and Albert Docks.
ARGENTINE INQUIRY URGED. (Rec. July 27, 5.5 p. 111.) Buenos Ayres, July 20. A committee of the Chamber of Deputies has recommended legislation against trusts, and an official inquiry into the international meat trado.
