REALLY GOOD COUGH SYRUP.

HOW TO MAKE IT AT HOME. The following splendid recipe makes a pint of cough mixture good for all members of the family. It is good for grandparents, grandchildren, and all the ages in between. It brings Hie cost of an oightcenpenny bottlo of cough, mixture down to less than threepence):— Obtain from your chemist or grocer one bottle of Hoan's Essence, mix it with sugar, treacle, and water, as per easy directions on the label. Pour into a large clean bottle and keep ready for use. It never spoils.' The dose is from a few drops to a spoonful, according to ago requirements.
