Jones referred to tho many years of valuable service rendered to the Church by Mrs. Jackson, and asked her to accept (on behalf of the congregation) a Morris chair as a token of esteem. Tho Pctono Working Men s Club gavo an entertainment to children in tho Drill Hall 011 Saturday afternoon, about 500 children being present. The Pctone Municipal Band • held a sacred concert at the Lyceum Theatre last evening. Itcius were rendered by Miss N. Foster and Mr. A. H. Robins, and Mv. Herbert Brigjs gave "Tho Star of Bethlehem" as a trombone solo. Lieut. T. Herd was the musical conductor, and Mr. N. 'C. Bradley accompanist. A largo audience assembled at Pctono Sulv.ition Army Barracks yesterday, wlira Major lvirk conducted the twenty-fifth anniversary services.
