Y.M.C.A. DEBATING CLUB.
At the weekly mectin? of the Y.M.C.A. Literary find Debating Club on Tuesday, Mv. B. "Brown presided. The evening was devoted to impromptu sneaking, and a very interesting and instructive time was spent. The subjects dealt with 'covered a wide range, and were well discussed. The question of compulsory military training received particular attention, and the Home Ruleßill also promoted a good discussion. Next week there will be a debate on the question, "Should New Zealand and Australia federate for purposes of naval defence?"
